The Battle of the Labyrinth is an action-packed adventure that will keep readers engaged from beginning to end. The novel ends with a cliffhanger, leading into the next book in the series, The Last Olympian. Along the way, they make new friends and allies, as well as enemies. The three friends journey to the Underworld, where they battle the Titans and eventually succeed in their mission. There, he and his friends Annabeth Chase (daughter of Athena) and Grover Underwood (a satyr) embark on a quest to save the Olympian gods from the Titans, who are planning to escape from Tartarus, the prison in which they are currently trapped. Percy attends a summer camp for demigods, called Camp Half-Blood, which is a haven for them. However, the primary focus is on the half-blood Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon. The novel opens with an introduction to the gods of Olympus, who are preparing for a war between the Olympians and the Titans.
