Again the letter N was stamped after the model number. There is record of some Martins not making the grade and being relabeled as a Sigma. These had the letter N after the model number. Some guitar was made in Japen and sent to Martin & Co in Nazareth, Pa for sanding, bridge and fret board attachment, final assembly and finish and still marked made in Japen. Now what makes this one special? Serial number is low 000113N, Sigma didnot use letters in their serial numbers. All Sigma was shipped to Martin & Co factory for final inspection and adjustment by Martin personal. comes with a fair condition chip board case. Neck is tight and straight, bridge is tight with no signs of lifting. Very good, well care for condition, minor scratches, Solid tight grained spruce top, manhogany back, sides, and neck, with rosewood fret board and bridge. Early 70s Sigma CS 5 by Martin made in Japan.
